Yoga has been used as a meditation technique for thousands of years and in its many different styles and forms continues to heal the mind, body and soul.

Yoga is a form of exercise that involves slow movements and stretching. It is an exercise that focuses on and aims to improve one’s breathing, flexibility and balance. Incorporating yoga into your weekly routine can help maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle both emotionally and physically. Our bodies are constantly rewiring allowing what we practice get easier, and it’s no different with yoga. We’ll help you find a starting point that’s comfortable for you and work from there through all levels.

Urbancore offers a variety of Yoga programs that focus on either an outdoor or indoor environment.This is a 6 week program with an additional week added for any missed classes. Classes take place at various locations around the city. Please see the event schedule for locations and sign up dates.

The correction of posture imbalances as well as the improvement of posture and balance. By focusing on and practicing controlled breathing, Yoga returns the mind to its natural state - calm, focused and relaxed.
